What ever happened to the song we were working on? My computer crashed over the summer, so I lost as much as we had so far, but I remember it being close to finished. There were two more verses, as I remember it, someone doing the next to last verse, and I was going to do the last verse when they finished.

Let's keep working on it!

Is there someone who has the "work in progress" version and who could e-mail it to me? jen agans AT gmail DOT com

Adam had it last. If he's busy, he may be willing to switch order with you and let you take the next verse.

I have some solo stuff I've been meaning to work on, but I've never got the mic plugged back in since we moved.

I this Will the Circle Be Unbroken? I was thinking of doing some banjo for that.

I got tired of the whipiness of my s'es when I spoke into that mic. I don't sound that whistly IRL, or so I have been told...

..and there was always a lot fo background noise from Audacity with my cheap mic (almost a ringing, although not clearly), so I am buying a decent one after I move. That way Jenni and sing and not have a machine whine added to her songs. [Big Grin]

Yes, it is.

Would anybody mind if I took a break on banjo?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Heck, no. You banjo your little heart out. [Big Grin]

My heart may be little, but it's planning on growing three sizes this December.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Well, that's always good. Because you know what they say about the hearts of banjoists. [Razz]

I lost my versions as well when my hard-drive disintigrated. That was a sad day. [Frown]

I think I sent it on, though, and had some people send versions back to me.

How is it possible that I didn't know about this?!

Posted by Dragon (Member # 3670) on :

good question! you should have been paying more attention I suppose... [Razz]

(and I'm excited for the banjo! I love banjo!)

Haha, I suppose so!! [Frown]

You guys'll have to tell me if you ever do another song.

If you are getting loud s'es when you sing, the mic is too close (probably). You need to make sure that your airflow doesn't hit the mic.

Please count me in any choir!

Hey, the more people on the chorus, the better...

Who knows "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" [Big Grin]

Oh, and who sings bass? We need a bass! And male voices in general, but also a bass!

Posted by mr_porteiro_head (Member # 4644) on :

I can sing bass.

We need more cowbell!!!

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

My dad has a cowbell. [Razz]

I have a cowbell too!

Only it's not in my dorm room, it's in my house. Drat.

I'll sing first tenor!

Acutally I've been singing all day today with the old folk at my work. Quite fun. [Smile] AND my choir finally got the new music we ordered! Yay!

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

I also sing all day. For different reasons, probably. [Smile]

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

And I sing all day for a completely different set of reasons. [Wink]

Also, probably completely different songs-- mostly kids' songs and old hymns.
