ELJay, I can promise you it is worth the wait..although don't get your hopes up(down)too high(Low), it isn't any of those things.

I laughed really hard at it, more because of...
Crud, I don't want to give it away.
Lets just say it would have been a riot with any number of people as the center of attention...although it is best as is, of course.

A friend of mine showed me that the other day. I then showed him the picture linked to in the Frodo has Failed thread.

Finally, some ammo which we can use to paint Bush in an unfavorable light. It's about darn time.

Not much. They are still negative and costly to human compassion.
By the way, this is funny only if you don't know Journalism. As any half-wit journalist would know, the colons represent a type of quotation mark offset.

So, Kwea, does name-calling serve you well in the rest of life? Or do you only practice it here?

See, to be awarding respect to someone who acts in a manner I don't approve of, like GWB, is false and harmful in and of its self.
I would be fairly respectful of him if I were to meet him, due to the office he holds, but as a man I have little to no respect for him.
If I were to act in the same manner he has, repeatedly, I would be called a liar, a cheat, and I doubt I would be allowed to hold a position of responsibility in most companies...if I were hired in the first place, that is.
The largest difference between me and him, other than the fact that I have never been a drug abuser, is who our parents are...and their respective incomes, of course.
Funny, the same people who were "outraged" at Clinton smoking pot (something I don't approve of myself) voted GWB into power...well, in at least ONE of those elections they did, anyway.

Not much IRL, only in the presence of ignorant people.
I imagine you will see me do it quite a bit.
Wow -- I'm responsible for your name-calling! Somehow, remotely, I can turn you into a complaining-and-unpleasant-individual.
I suppose if I were as civility-challenged as you, I'd find someone else to blame it on, as well.
This explains your political philosophy better than any amount of argument could.
I guess you are not only ignorant, you are either blind of unable/unwilling to read what is actually posted.
I said I was rude on occasion to ignorant people...not that you were responsible for my actions at all. I called you ignorant (or I at least implied it)..not stupid, or a cuss word, or any type of slur at all. You do understand the difference between stupid and ignorant, right?I don't think you are particularly informed about me at all, nor do I see any reason in most of your posts to respect the level of your knowledge.
I may be wrong, and that's fine...wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last either, I am sure.
However, when I debate someone it doesn't usually consist of misrepresenting my opponents arguments, misrepresenting their intent, and making false arguments linking abortion to....well, to anything other than abortion, really .
So far that is most of what I have see from you, so pardon me for not respecting your opinion on...well, on anything we have discussed so far, to be honest.
Since you know SOOO much about me and my political views, mostly based on this thread(which once again would have been pretty funny regardless of who it happened to), please enlighten me o wise one about my political choices....since even I am not sure what they will be most of the time until right up to the elections.
Here is a freebie..I didn't vote for Bush, so don't try to blame me for any of the crap over the past 6 years or so, ok?

Yeah Will, because I think anyone who challenges me, calling this thread hate, and implying I don't care about "family values" because I thought this was funny, is being ignorant, I am the unpleasant one. I am complaining.
Who started calling people things and slurring their value systems?
Family values...would that be snorting coke, barely passing college (where I only got in because of daddy in the first place), getting drunk all the time, skipping out on my National Guard duties (when my high school classmates are dying in Vietnam)...
Or would that be having a mother who thinks (publicly, out loud) poor people didn't have much to lose in Katrina...after all they were poor in the first place, how bad could it be? They are probably better off this way anyway, they should just stop complaining and feeling sorry for themselves....
If this is your brand of Christianity, you can keep it, and your poster child for "family values" too.
Obviously hypocrisy runs in the family as well...is THAT what you meant?
It doesn't even remotely resemble my brand of Christianity....thank God.

Can I just say that I love how Kwea has gotten so completely serious about defending something that he considers to be "funny no matter who was the target". If it was just about the funny and not about the Bush hatred, Kwea clearly wouldn't have gotten so riled up. Can't stand the heat, then get out of the comedic kitchen. It's obviously not about the joke to Kwea, clearly about the vitriol against the President. The intent was malicious, which to me, makes it not so funny as sad. See, this really could have been funny coming from someone just looking at it as an ironic coincidence. What a shame.

Gotta love freshmen psychology 101. (I know you aren't a feshman...just makes me sad. )
I just hate people jumping in and accusing other people of crap, and the pretending to take the high road about it....I also don't like people who don't know me at all passing judgement on me...particularily when then usually get it wrong.
Not one bit of what I said was false....but I wouldn't have said any of the stuff about Bush if people had not started throwing the word hate around, and implying things about the character of anynone who DARE to think this was funny.
Grow up. Until he stated in on hate, and "family values", where did I even crack a single joke about Bush? If you start complaining about others "family values" then what makes yours off limits?
It WAS funny, and ironic.. and my original post about this mentioned it...but I deleted it because I didn't want to tip people off about the subject matter.
Lets stop pretending that you would have found this funny regardless who posted it. You would ahve been defensive and then insulted people, even if you didn't have the balls to do it directally, and then tried to take umbridge at the response....
Just like you are doing right now.
Nice try though. :
It only took me 32 posts from you to see that too.

If you really think that this is about growing up... I really don't want to make this a flame thing, but I have to say: It may be immature, but your post just begs for it.

And believe it or not, Kwea, I actually would have found this funny coming from someone not so quite overflowing with Bush hatred. Trust me, I have plenty criticisms of the man. Oh yeah, and quit changing your last post to refine your arguments, whatever they may. It's starting to bother me.

Who the F#ck are you to tell me what to do here?
I could care less what you tell me to do.
I don't type well, so most of what I do is spellcheck, and clear up grammer. Deal...or leave, because it won't stop. It is better than posting a lot of reposts to correct it, and I have not changed the point of a single argument.
I should have ignored the Bush bait, to be honest, I agree with you on that. My actual point got lost...that the people who spend all their time talking about others "family values" should shut up and mind their own families...and business,; they don't seem to be doing a very good job in their won.
I have not psoted all that before, although I have been honest about my dislike for his policies...but a lot of the time, particularily lately, I have not bothered. It is over and done, and no one seems to care anymore, so why not let it die.
I just hate hypocrisy, particularily from those who pretend to be moraly superior.
Still was a funny photo, though.

I think he's probably referring to the fact that your previous post ended at "Grow up." and then had a bunch added on afterwards.
