I have a moustache. I've had it since the 8th grade or so. I have shaved it only about 5 times in my life so far. I'm 40 yrs old, now.

I have a fairly long jawline-style beard which comes to a bit of a point. I've had it probably 3 years now. I've gone through pretty much every common facial hair permutation and a few that are very uncommon.

I have a mole on my chin that grows thick dark hair of indeterminate length. Which is really weird because I don't even have to shave my legs.

Oh yes, also eyebrows.

Posted by Kwea (Member # 2199) on :

I have a goatee.

I haven't shaved for a day.

I have a Goatee that appears and disappears with regularity...what can I say? I'm a finicky person.

I have peach fuzz and my eyebrows sometimes get a little out of control.

I have a 3 day beard right now. I know it's time to shave because when I was taking my break tonight, one of the people in the bar where I play told me I look like Colin Farrel (which I don't).

I have a goatee that I usually keep very well trimmed. Though I constantly think of shaving it off.

I have eyebrows. [Razz]

I also have a goatee. And eyebrows.

I'm the guy on the left. I've been wearing mustache only for a long time, tried full beard twice, and now have settled for this. I think... [Wink]

Oh Corwin! The Evil Magician look! Good choice.

And me, I'd rather not describe my facial hair. A never ending battle it is.

Posted by KarlEd (Member # 571) on :

I have a full beard now, and Chris has a moustache. I've had the beard for about two months. Before that I had a goatee for several years. I've had at least a moustache for as long as I've been able to grow one, (except for my missionary years).

Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :

I have eyebrows, of course, but I also have one spot on the right moustache area that grows a dark coarse hair. And I have another spot under my chin that does the same thing.

I pluck those, of course.

My mother, on the other hand, doesn't. She has a full moustache and beard. <insert vomity smiley>

I had a beard for some 15 years, and recently got rid of it. I miss it, but I get so many compliments I figure I'd better leave it off!

Still my firm belief that almost all men should have facial hair. I just think it's sexy.

Corwin, you officially look nothing like I pictured you. [Smile] This is going to require substantial mental readjustment on my part.

My wife finally convinced me to grow a beard again. I have a goatee now. She loves it, and it's growing on me.

I have facial hair that grows fast enough to require daily shaving in a professional environment.

And yet it's far too patchy to actually grow a beard or even a goatee. Worst of both worlds.

I would hope so. If it's not growing on you, then who is it growing on?

For a little while I am growing a goatee. I have to shave it prior to Oct 5th though. Stupid Navy regs.

Aww, Jon Boy beat me to it.

-----

I have a goatee, and slightly longer than usual (for me) sideburns, which used to be pointy but are now square. And eyebrows, usually. I'm thinking of modifying my configuration somewhat. Full beard again, maybe?

Posted by Megan (Member # 5290) on :

Count me among the eyebrow people. [Big Grin]

I think some guys look good with facial hair, while others are better off without.

I wish Jim could grow his beard in; he just gets patches, instead of an actual consistent beard--but what comes in is a different color than the hair on his head! (His hair is brown, his beard a nice coppery red).

A friend of mine tried to grow a goatee right before his 16th birthday, he's blonde, it turned out badly, but on many men yes facial hair is sexy, they just shouldn't rush it.

People will compliment anything that is "new". At least, women will. If they notice a new hairdo, they are required on pain of death to say, "Oh, it looks sooooo cuuuuute!"

If you like it, grow it back.

I don't know about the rest of you ladies, but I love the plucking. There is an endorphin rush that is addictive when you set to plucking the hairs. one. by. one. It's like a gateway drug for the hard stuff.

Waxing.

Rrrrip!! Owwwww!!! Ahhhh!

It's also a little obsessive-compulsive in nature at times, don't you think?

Not that I'm saying anything. [Big Grin]

I had a semi-usibrow, and I had it shaved once unwillingly. Now I have to shave it weekly (though my glasses' little connector hides it a little).

I also have eyebrows, and shave quite often so I can grow a beard/moustache. My face isn't characteristically matured enough for it, though.

Posted by Blayne Bradley (Member # 8565) on :

i shave about 3 times a week, I prefer to look youthful and vigorous.

Posted by breyerchic04 (Member # 6423) on :

CT, I don't quite understand threading eyebrows, could you please explain?

Oh! I think! I think! It is irresistable. I once talked to a (female) psychologist about what I thought might be an unhealthy obsession and compulsion related to the plucking. She asked how much I plucked. I told her. She said that was nothing -- she did it more. Then she inspected me for any stray pluckable hairs, and offered to "take care of them" for me. Then I did her.

Most bizaare moment in psychotherapy.

I have a goatee. Plus I'm lazy and usually only shave once or twice a week.

But scruffy kind of works on me. Otherwise I look a little too polished and snobbish.

Posted by Sopwith (Member # 4640) on :

Scruffy here, by choice. Just looks better and I can't get through the itchy stage to a full beard. I think my record is about three weeks.

And I fight the unibrow.

I want to thread. How did you learn to do it, CT?
