Great fun! Nathan brought a friend, and they both loved the art of caving!
I just loved the peace and quiet.
Until the first loud camp group. *chuckle*
Some of the hi-lights:
The dead mouse that had a most interesting mold on it - all white and fuzzy - made me think of the X-Files and wonder what awful spores were just lurking in wait . . .
The tiny end of the cave tunnel that you literally had to slither forward on bellies to get into the final cave . . .
The picnic lunch looking out over a rather "mean" looking Mt. St. Helen's while the chipmunks flirted and begged . . .
The suspension bridge 20 miles farther down the road on yet another hike that swayed most alarmingly . . .
The delicious chili at the cafe outside of Cougar.
My, what a day!
The boys are now trading Pokeman cards in the backyard in a tent. That's a fine place for boys!
