But you all knew that already, right?

After our Sunday morning bike ride this morning my parents stuck around and helped me with some yardwork, and Daddy fixed my screen doors so they closed right. We got back from the ride and brunch a little after noon, and they stayed, working in the hot sun with nasty, allergy-causing plants, until a bit before 4. It would have taken me forever longer to do it all by myself, not to mention the fact that I would have gotten distracted and wandered off task well before it was finished. [Wink]

Regardless, I just had to post to say how very much I appreciate my wonderful Mom & Dad.

Plus they're feeding me dinner tonight. What more could a girl ask for?

While we were away, Tony's parents finished the paving job in the back yard, cleaned our garage, weeded the corner we've been meaning to do for ages and arranged for someone to pick up our old stove that is sitting lumpishly in the garage.

Yes BUT, ElJay got an appreciation thread for sitting on her butt and typing a few things for DKW, and she didn't have to spend 4 hours slaving away in the hot sun. Do you think she would have posted this if her mother hadn't said something like the above mid afternoon.
