All of my desk chairs are too low. Are there some sort of special chairs you have to get?

Honestly. I've gotten a spinny chair that gets taller, but won't get tall enough so that the desk isn't so high on me that I have to hunch a bit upward instead of having good posture.

Denizens of hatrack, what's the secret?!

Get the kind with gas lifts.

And check 'em out at the store first, because they come in all sorts of heights.

You could build a platform about half a foot high for your chair to sit on.

Perhaps you could try a drafting chair. They go way high.

Five four. I have short legs and a long torso. My sister, who is an inch shorter, has longer legs than I do. I honestly think it's the chairs. Am going to Staples in a few minutes. Hopefully I will come back with a proper chair.

Chair procured. It's a horribly ugly color, but of all the chairs there, was the highest.
