Will I lose the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy computer game, if I lost the towel and Ford's satchel?

Vogons will reach out of the screen, drag you in, and subject you to poetry.

Here you go!

I didn't mean to lose the towel. I was getting the atomic vector plotter. And, do I need to carry the portable Improbablity Drive? Or can I leave it? Because I'm carrying too much stuff and don't know what do about it. Is there a way to fix that?

You will lose the game without the towel. The satchel is irrelevant, provided you've taken everything you can out of it; that said, it holds quite a bit and is good for carrying things around in.
You do not need to carry the Improbability Drive around; just leave it in the engine room and visit it when you need to go somewhere.

One of the guys I worked with had a bunch of those games. He made me a CD. :)
I remember playing Hitchhiker's Guide a very long time ago.

I played this when I was 6, and always died by the bulldozer. I was so mad!
Now of course, I know what to do.

So I have to start all over and make sure I keep the towel?
Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :
Yes. Heck, keep the satchel, too, and just put stuff in it.

Clearly, you are not a froody dude.

I didn't mean to leave it on the Vogon ship. The Vogon guards dragged me away before I could get it.
Edit: After getting the babble fish, I mean.

Tom, you can't put stuff in the satchel because its Ford's and its private.

Here's one place that you can play it at. I'm sure there are more though.

Is Starship Titanic online anywhere?

Megan, you are confused in your terminology. You mean 'hoopy frood'.

If you take the seven of 2227, your post count as I see it now, and multiply the first two 2's you get 4 and 2. Put them together and you get 42.
