This strip is addictive!
I've just gotten up to episode 90.

One tiny part of today's made me laugh out loud.

"...In 1812 we were just sitting in the ground minding our own buisness putting crops into the ground we heard the soldiers coming and we didn't like that sound. So we took a boat to washington and burnt it to the ground..."

I would have posted OotS here ages ago if I'd known people weren't already reading it. It's something I've just taken as a given since before I joined Hatrack!

The alignment strip is one of the bestest, and since it's in the middle of a major story arc you really should just start at the beginning and read them all.

I'm going to go back and read them.

The D&D geek in me wants to point out that 1-4 level cleric spells don't require direct approval by the deity in question.

But that would be too geeky, even for me.

So I won't.

Edit: "My daddy was a first edition thief." [ROFL]

In 3rd Edition, in fact, clerical spells don't technically require a deity at all. *shudder*

OOTS is one of my favorite strips.

Posted by mr_porteiro_head (Member # 4644) on :

Depending on the universe you played in, clereical spells didn't require deities in 2nd edition, either.

I'm up to 48.

And I'm not getting any work done on my cover letters for clerkships. [Grumble]

I just about shat myself with this one.

And now I'm having the urge to go read some of my old Forgotten Realms novels. The shame. The shame.

Oooo... lol
I'm up to 205! Almost done... wow. Half the day spent reading this strip.

OK, the wizard forgetting about the familiar constantly was good.

But this one proves beyond a doubt that this guy is a gamer. [Smile]

Posted by Enigmatic (Member # 7785) on :

Not just any gamer, he was one of the 3 finalists for WotC's new D&D setting competition. Or rather, one of the 2 finalists who wasn't Keith Baker, the guy who designed Eberron.

I have an autographed copy of the first OotS collection. </fanboy>

I know, Dag, I know. It's not easy. I'm in the same boat.

I finished them all now...dammit!

I was just about to post on this, after being pointed towards it in the....I don't remember which thread. HILARIOUS! And I, also, am now forced to wait....laaame.
