Here is the trailer.

It looks pretty good (especially for a huge Elijah Wood fan like myself [Blushing] ).

Has anyone read the book by Jonathan Safran Foer? I was thinking of picking it up at B&N the other day but decided I had too much homework.

Note: Thanks to Always and Forever for the heads up.

Wow. Liev Shreiber directed it? Makes me want to see it more. [Smile] It looks like a great movie, thanks for the link!

Does anyone get a Garden State sort of feeling from it? Male main character and a journey of self-discovery?

here's what I had to say:

"I absolutely adored this book, and was really excited when I found out a movie was being made of it. Even knowing how hard it would be to create a faithful adaptation of such a bizarely structured story.

From watching the trailer it does seem like some elements of the book were dropped because they were just too difficult to incorporate, but we'll see. Either way, the trailer still looks cool."

Valentine, I totally recommend the book. You won't be dissapointed.

It's such a relief to see Elijah Wood in a movie where I can be proud of him again.

Eternal Sunshine was a great movie, but he hasn't had a leading role in a good movie since LotR. I thought that was the end of him, which made me sad because I think he's a delightful actor. I can't wait to see this one, it looks wonderful.

Wow, the movie looks awesome. I'm definately going to see it (and read the book, too.)

Thanks!

(I am also glad that E.W. has decided to get back into the leading role thing. He's a good actor.)

(I just bought a bunch of shares in this movie over at HSX and it's climbing. [Smile] ) I'm getting more excited about it the more I watch the trailer. It looks like it will be kind of...whimsical.

I'll definitely have to pick up the book, now that it's been recommended by Hatrack.
