I didn't want this to get obscured by the Will Ferrell thread, but has anyone ever seen Adam Hills either live or on TV?

I think this would only be possible in England, Scotland, Ireland or Australia.

I saw him live once here in Australia with his show "Go You Big Red Fire Engine 2" and found him to be the absolute, no holds barred, funniest guy I have ever seen. No contest.

The thing I liked most about him tho was that his humour was *positive*. He never stooped the cynical or sarcastic, it's hard to describe because I've never heard comedy like it - except that you left the show with your sides hurting, out of breath from laughing and on the biggest high I had in years.

Oh, and he was born without a right foot. Although I haven't seen it, he's been known to perform a strip-tease where he throws his prosthetic leg into the audience after twirling it about his head.

His writing doesn't convey quite the same impact, but you can read some of his stuff here: Adam Hills at Ouch!
