Diana was my English teacher (and geography also -- ask me about the map of Africa some time >_< ) in 9th and 10th grades. She found out I was into SF&F and gave me copies of Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead.

(IOW, it's her fault that I've been pestering y'all for over two years now. [Big Grin]

She's extremely intelligent, an absolute sweetheart, and a lot of fun. And I do hope she plans to post again, and not just that once!

You _should_ sympathize with them, Silhouette, as I have been homeschooling them for the last ten years or so. It's all coming to an end now, as my eldest is in university, and my youngest is "transitioning" to "normal" high-school as a Junior in September. It's one thing to be homeschooled, and another to be homeschooled by a fanatical professional teacher-type. [Smile]
