Um Shan, actually you're MORE likely to have heard of Golden Earring if you're old. They're classic Classic Rock. For example, classic rock stations, when they do the 1000 best rock songs of all time usually have the Golden Earring song "Radar Love" in the top half:

"I’ve been drivin’ all night,
my hand’s wet on the wheel..." wah wa wa wawa waaaaaa
