I found it all so funny! There are members of Hatrack who are not only aware of my military service, but who also have talked to me in person.

Still I have until 1400 to get lunch, check e-mail and look at women, so I am not going to waste too much time playing pattycake.

I am leaving with B co 2/130 out of Effingham Illinois attached to 48th BTE out of Georgia. We had a lovely ceremony that is likely to have been national news and be available to avid researcers.

Our ordeal of sitting on our bags starts today, making yesterday may last 'free' day. I spent it well I assure you!

I think that those of you who want to get to know real people should try the online dating community. My ideas are always real ideas, my opinions are always real opinions. I may not carry them around all the time, but who does?

I am off, and I have real problems to worry about (real as in life or death) If I have offended anyone I hope you will not believe me when I tell you it does not really bother me! [Smile]

Um, I hate to be doing this, but when BC was in Dallas, I did call him, out of curiosity, and talked to him on the phone.

Stuff I heard in the background convinced me that he is indeed in the military. I can't tell you what else is or is not true, but I can tell you he was in Dallas, and he is in the military.

Also, he grew up somewhere that imparted him with a bit of a rural southern accent, which I believe he tries, consciously or unconsciously, to dampen, but which comes through nevertheless. [Smile]

ehhh...You called somebody who's in the military. It might have been BC. If BC's lying, he's been getting his detailed info from a friend of his in the military. If he's not, it's a rare thing for him.

Either way, he's not really worth much attention.

No. It was BC. Sorry.

In the military or not, he's obviously a wanker. Disdain and contempt are not ways of gaining sympathy.

I won't miss him.

Regardless of your manners, BC, stay safe.

Do we really need to debate on whether or not KQ heard what she thinks she heard? Or go into the various ways (or motives! AHA!) that BC could've tricked her into thinking that he is who he now says he was?

Someone turn this into a discussion on homosexuality. . . it'd be more productive, IMO.

No offense to you KQ, of course, but this doesn't convince me at all, nor would it possibly being true convince me that he isn't an ass, a liar, and a general waste of skin.

Funny thing about the boy who cried wolf, isn't it? No matter how old the story, the truths in it still are valid.

I have no reason to believe anything he says....particularly since he once claimed he WASN'T really in the service.

Which lie should we believe again?

BC, please DO believe me when I say I could care less about you or your leaving. Not only will we not close, we probably wouldn't have even noticed you were gone if you had not made such a big deal of it.

That's how little you matter, one way or another.

:panics:

Um. . .um. . .um. . .

Abraham Lincoln was a gay athiest wiccan priest, who commited suicide and post-humously blamed his death on John Wilkes booth, his illicit lover and father of his half-black child, Harriet Tubman!

Knock it off. You've made your comments, and the only reason I won't delete them is so you don't have to write them again.

Scott, your topic is fine. Feel free to start another thread.
