Porter,

I stupidly set my clan ranking down a notch on Kingdom of Loathing. That means I really can't do anything right now. Could you log on long enough to boost my rank back up in the clan?

BTW, there are a few other Hatrackers still playing and it looks like they can't take anything out of the clan stash any more. The daily karma expenditure limit is set at "zero."

I can't seem to find a way to reset it (It doesn't affect ranked characters, who are exempt from Karma limits).

Any ideas?

I started playing again for a while when they revised the PvP rules. It got boring when I realized I won more fights by buffing my character up as much as I could and just sitting at home. I keep winning points because people attack and I kick their butt.

Porter,

Did the leadership of the clan get handed off to you? (I think Celia had it at one point.)

The reason I ask is that no one can spend Karma unless there is a limit set by the leader of the clan.

I figure either you have the ability to set the karma expenditures - or (and I'm afraid this could really be the case) the clan doesn't have a leader since the last one is gone from the game and didn't do a replacement.

We might have to set up a new clan, and move all our meat and stash over to the new one.

I know for sure there are four of us still playing once in awhile. Don't know how many more, though.

I think I remember reading that they changed it so that only ranked members can use karma.

I played it the first day until it told me I couldn't play anymore. Then I couldn't drag myself back the next day, and that was it. I haven't had patience for these kind of games for years now.

It just didn't seem like the type of game that you could play for that long. Like, what do you DO?
