Do you ever get that end-of-the-semester anxiety? If you're not in school, probably not, but I think you know what I'm talking about.

Graduation day is in three and a half weeks, but I only have until Monday, as in five days from now, to finish up my big projects. It's not very much time. I spend every spare moment I have in the computer lab, editing my video. I'm finished with one video, but I still have to have the second video and my presentation done by Monday. After that, I can worry about my digital photography project.

Also, tonight is a recital for some of the voice majors, and I'm accompanying many of them on the piano. In fact, I'm playing 12 out of the 23 songs tonight. Some of them only gave me the music last Thursday, so in between all of my editing, I've been practicing their songs. I'm nervous about that too.

I will be so glad when this is all over. Thank you for listening. [Smile]

(OK, I'm only going to push the button once this time. Honest.)

UPDATE: Thanks for the encouragement. Tonight's recital is done, and it went extremely well. I've also decided not to go to my thing on Saturday so that I'll have more time to work in the lab.

I will relax, no doubt, during finals week, because by then, I won't have anything important to do. But for now, it's four more days of nonstop work.

Good luck!
I know I always procrastinated so much. Always found stuff that had to be done. Clean the house. Laundry. The car’s flux capacitor needed tuning.

Don't rush it. Once graduation is over, and reality starts, you will miss it. Take a break, if its nice go ouside for some fresh air.

Yup, I'm in it now. One class is complete, and I know my grade - an A.

The other two are up in the air. I've got a low A going into the final on one, and a high A going into the final on the other, but anything can happen.

I wouldn't be stressing so hard except that I really, really need A's. My GPA now is very low due to me screwing up so badly last time I went (12 years ago) and since I have my eyes set on grad school, I really, really need to work hard and pull my GPA up if I'm goig to have a chance to get into the grad school program I want.

They only admit 28 students into the program every other year, so my work is cut out for me.

Hester, I understand completely! I only have one paper, one project and two finals left to complete, yet I'm extremely anxious about getting it all done. I'm spending the evening in the library today and tomorrow. My last classes are on Saturday and Monday. I know I'll finish... especially if I can manage to stop reading hatrack [Smile]

Good luck to everyone on their semester finals & projects!
