Currently, Apple stores are offering free laser engraving with an iPod purchase. You can get up to two lines of text. Sorry, but that won’t help you with the iPod you already purchased.

Be careful, though. I tried having some mechanical engraving done to my iPod, and it added an unnatural vibrato to all my music and spoken word files.

My audio book of Ender's Game sounded like it was being narrated by Elmer Fudd.

Mine is engraved. It's a pink mini and it says "I love you"
