I am cutting down to 30(or somewhere in that range)minutes of Hatrack a day, plus fifteen minutes of email checking. (Not counting any of the seconds it is taking to type this, or the minutes it took to type other things this morning.)

I am going lukewarm turkey. That is all. I will see you at 9 or something.

OK, not lukewarm turkey, really, more like tepid turkey.

..Motown fan? *bats eyes* My co-worker is e-mailing me the list of songs, and I'm supposed to tell her which are country and which are Western. Hatrack is the source of all my magic powers. [Cry]

I'm loving the evolution of this thread's title.

I've got a pretty good system going where I can check hatrack once I complete a task.

Given my nature to really finish a task, I stayed out of hatrack for 12 hours one Sunday while tweaking my website. [Eek!]

She's trying to reign in the lure of the HatCrack. Good luck Liz, I tried that too, and ended up tying my belt around my arm and switching to HatSmack.

I have also limited myself to computer use, period, like surfing the net.

I do wish you luck, though I have only managed to cut back when my 'puter breaks.

Ah, but the trick is to spread your hatracking time out over several doses. That way, you maximize the amount of time spent reading new material and/or checking threads for updates instead of burning it all waiting for people to post. Or maybe I just have that problem 'cuz I hatrack later at night when everybody goes to bed. Or something.
