I was ready to write my next installment on the thread I started there and it crashed...

Your naughty thread killed it. [No No]

It wasn't that naughty, I was trying to be tasteful, but yeah it was too explicit for Hatrack. Problem is, that while I'm sure it could be done, I was trying to articulate my thoughts on the discussion, which are hard enough to organize to begin with, without the added complication of tring to make it hatrack-safe.

I was just about to post on this thread...hey sax, you want my old p166 to host your site on? [Big Grin]

We need a better host for Sax. [Mad]

Posted by saxon75 (Member # 4589) on :

I agree.

If it's not back up in half an hour or so I'll open a service ticket.

We seem to be back.

I am still, of course, accepting donations to the Get Saxon Better Hosting Fund.

Posted by Ela (Member # 1365) on :

Yay. [Cool]

All jokes aside, I'm not actually accepting donations. I wouldn't feel right about accepting money for what amounts to a hobby project of mine. Sakeriver will be moving to a new host as soon as my current subscription with Hostony is up, which is in August. I've more or less decided on DreamHost as my next hosting service, and this time I won't be getting a year's subscription until I test it out with a shorter one. In the meantime, if anyone else has any suggestions for hosting services, or things I should be doing with the next revision of Sakeriver (I'm planning on completely overhauling my application once again), I'm always willing to listen.

I use ICDSoft and have been very happy, but I don't do anything nearly as complicated with my website as you do with yours.

Is there any open source D-n-D stuff we could use for a new character generation sheet? Oops, I should say, for D20 Modern.

By the way, I've been assuming that you are an alt, no. 6, but I'm more or less in the dark as to for whom.
