I'm a Black Mouth Cur.
I know nothing about dogs, but apparently it means that I'm used by hunters and sportsmen.
Righty then!

I'm the dog from Turner and Hooch (Dogue de Bordeaux).
"Once used for fighting bears, bulls, and other dogs.... Calm in termperament it makes an assured watchdog and affectionate companion that will neither judge nor criticize their owner, however awful they may be."

I'm a boxer. I'm a good guard. And was used in battle by the Romans.
Posted by Zeugma (Member # 6636) on :
Used in battle by the Romans? Maybe their ancestors were, but the Boxer breed didn't even exist until the late 1800s. And they make terrible guard dogs, unless you want intruders licked to death! Posted by HesterGray (Member # 7384) on :
Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
I splash around in the water to attract ducks so my owner can shoot them. Go me.

Eskimo Dog. Not what I'd expected, but there it is.

I'm a Samoyed --
which is really cool - because up until I got interested in owning Great Pyrenees - the Samoyeds were my favorite breed, and I would go to dog shows just to take photos of them, etc. I must just like big, white dogs.
But I just thought it was really neat that I turned out to be a type of dog that I have long been fascinated by.

I'm a "Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever".
I thrash about in the water in order to attract the attention of ducks so my owner can take pot shots at them.
Charming.
EDIT: I look sort of orange and fluffy.

Shiba Inu. I'm kind of cool looking, but I obviously have not been neutered.
The personality really is me, though. "Affectionate with family and friends, this dog is happiest in a domestic environment, but will rise to the hunt. Amongst strangers it can be aloof, sensitive, and hard to please."

Bearded Collie. A breed I like. I'd own one, but for all the hair... though considering my hair is always in my face too...

Wow this quiz has quite a few breeds (and there was only one that you guys listed I hadn't heard of), before taking it I will guess I'll be a poodle or cocker or something little and a bit yippy, but who knows.
Results, German Mittel Spitz, I think that might be what Stryker's dog is, hmm I'd never been compared to Killer before Posted by prolixshore (Member # 4496) on :
I'm a Sloughi. Never heard of it, but apparently they have webbed feet so they run really fast on sand. From Morocco. Kinda cool.
