Hi, I'm Punwit and I'm an addict. I've been a fanatic of Kansas University basketball for many, many years. I miss very few games. I sat last night and watched as four seniors that I've come to respect, lost to Bucknell in their opening round. I felt like my guts had been ripped out. I turned off the tv and lost myself in a book. This morning I wanted no part of any news item related to the loss. I signed in here to immerse myself in stories of babies, friends and family, compassion and caring, oh, and lets not forget puns.

Thank you Hatrack for being my harbor, my place to put life in perspective. You all are wonderful people and I appreciate being a small part of such a great community. [Kiss]

I'm sorry they lost, Punwit. My friend feels the same way about Syracuse, and they lost to UVM. (which, I have to say, is the coolest thng ever, but I did not say it to him.)

Elizabeth, I had Syracuse going to the finals in my bracket so I wasn't too thrilled about that loss either, but it certainly wasn't gut-wrenching like KU's loss.

punwit -- I'm right there with ya, man!

I watched the game, shut it off in disgust after it was over, went to bed. And haven't felt like checking my brackets or watching any games since.

I have never seen them play worse. They totally deserved to lose with the way they were playing last night...

So does that mean they're out of the running for the final four then? I don't pay much attention to sports, but since this is KU I'm curious.
