So says BBC News.

Crap. Now I'll have to watch it.

Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction.

If they don't have Linda Carter in the movie then I am not watching it. Unless Jennifer Connely plays Wonder Woman.

Amen, msquared.

mmmmm, Linda Carter. And Jennifer Connely? She was so incredibly beautiful in the Rocketeer

I would watch Jennifer Connely read the phone book.

It'd be kind of interesting to have Linda Carter star as Wonder Woman in Joss's movie--Wonder Woman at 54. Definitely wouldn't be your typical comic book adaptation.

She still looks really good from what I saw of her in "I Love the 70's" on VH1. Of course, she's probably lost some of her, uhh, firmness, I guess is the proper word to use.

Lynda Carter, Jane Seymour and Jaclyn Smith (especially) have aged beautifully. Unlike Farrah Fawcette, say.

Be interesting to see, though. Jennifer Connely would be more interesting, especially in that wonder suit.

I was being serious, by the way--I think that that would be a really interesting movie to see. I'm not sure where they'd go with it, but I expect it would be worth watching.

Isn't she supposed to be immortal? I wonder how that'd work?

Posted by Noemon (Member # 1115) on :

Is she? I'm not that familiar with the Wonder Woman mythos.

In any case, immortal doesn't necessarily equal eternally young.

Time for me to link to this and this again. [Big Grin]

I guess, then, this thread couldn't have been more designed to pull you in, ay Beverly?

I'd forgotten about your resemblance to those two, bev!

Actually, it's better designed to pull me in. [Big Grin]

Linda could play Jennifer's mother or something. Maybe hand over the outfit after trying it on to see if it still fit.

I still remember that show with fond memories.

You're right, Porter. Obviously.
