The circumference of your waist correlates more closely with several known risk factors for heart disease than does your body mass index (BMI) -- the measure of weight in relation to height -- according to a report in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition

Great. Now in addition to them making me get on the scale to tell us all we're a bunch of fatties they're gonna break out the measuring tape to really rub our noses in it.

We're fat. We're a land of plenty. And we're living longer than any generation in history. Stop telling us how awful it is and we are!

So don't go to the doctor. They only care because so much of the national healthcare dollar goes to treating people in the final weeks of a degenerative disease.

Pix, you ever heard about the Framingham Heart Study? Amazing wealth of data and photos.

People have been followed with photos and detailed exams quite literally for 50+ years in a small town in Massachusetts. Amazing. *tents fingers ... "Excellent ..."

CT, I'm not saying doctors are money grubbing. I'm saying people abuse their bodies for years and then when they are completely broken down, they demand that the medical establishment do everything it can to prolong their final days. A disproportional share of medical resources goes toward this.
