My 4 year old:

"Cold is good in the refrigerator. Cold is bad in the shower."

"Why do they sell pretty new trucks. Why don't they give them away?"

"The police will take away the bad guys, and put them in time out, and put them in jail, and hurt their pee-pees." (A real Penal institution.)

Well, it doesn't have the charm of coming from a 4 year old learner of english, but yesterday at lunch I said:

"Hot hot. Don't eat yet, it's too hot."

and my four year old says:
"Okay, I'll wait until it's one hot."
