So in my go.com emails inboxes I am getting very scary emails. Most of them are titled "Failure in mail delivery" or "Re: "something something and some have email addresses that are similiar to the addresses in my address book. I got one today that has something to do with me but is not even in my address book. And it had a virus attachment!!! This is scarying me a lot! It's in both my go.com email accounts... Anyone getting anything like this?

Got a bunch of those last April. Probably just a virus spammer somewhere with a falsified return address, so you get the bounce.
Um... don't open them. *smile*

I wouldn't have opened it if I was on my own computer.... *smiles maniachly* It also said in the email that there wasn't a virus attached.
HA!

Typical spam. The dirtbags have had bots scanning webpages for email addresses for years and years.
So if your email address appears at a site, spammers'll often spoof -- ie use someone else's email address posted on that same site -- to try to get you to open their mail. Especially if their mailing has an attachment containing a virus or a dataminer.
Or some of your friends have or had spammer/remailer viruses or dataminer embedded in their machine, and it's reading/read their email address book and sent a copy to a spammer or a phreak.
Or you have or had a virus or dataminer on your computer which read your email address book, then sent a copy to a spammer or a phreak.
