There's an old thread with a bunch of different LOTR and other name generators.

I killed the old one too. After my post the thread just stopped! Here's what my results were among the various generators:
quote:
At the last hobbit site I got completely different results depending on whether I entered Julie or Julia.
Hobbit: Julie (lastname): Laeryan Pickthorn of the Shire
Julia (lastname): Claengwen Norcross of the Bree
Smurf: either Full Montey Smurf or Chanukah Smurf.
Human: Julie: Haon Queen of Gondor!!! Julia: Foawen Eorl
I knew there was a reason I've always liked Julie better!
Wizard: Melia , Powers of Arda or Valaraukar , Queen of the Sea
Maybe I should be going by Julia!
Dwarf: Mereana of Belegost or Ysalyan , Queen under the Mountain
Elven: V餩th Queen of the Noldor or M󮧠Greenleaf

I think I'm destined to be royalty somewhere! Except with hobbits. I think it's funny how one letter made so much difference. I didn't change the last name or the first four letters of the first name, and yet my entire name changed!

Dimple Sandybanks of Frogmorton...
and Feanaro Telemnar (sounds suspiciously similar to that fellow who made the Silmarils).

Now all we need is an Orc name generator.
