Because I'm not . . .

Has it been showing me logged in when I'm logged off? (er, how would you know? Well, I'm on AIM today for probably the second time in a month.)

Check your cell phone to see if you are logged in there as well. If you aren't then it is just more evidence that AOL is the spawn of satan.

It shows you logged in (not mobile) right now, and earlier today. Other than that, not for the last few times I've been on.

By the way, rivka, my buddy list shows you as being on a mobile too.

You are not currently logged in.

I am logged in, but away -- and I have NEVER been logged in on a mobile.

BTW, I'm using Gaim, not the AIM software.

My AIM tells me that I'm logged on in more than one place whenever my modem is cut off by my ISP, then automatically redials. Sometimes it also says I'm logged on to a mobile device, but I don't have one. [Dont Know] Unless this laptop counts, but it's not signed up for any service. After a few times of AIM getting upset about me (supposedly) being logged on in more than one place, it takes my name back and I have to sign up for a new one. Right now I am raindeadhorse2, or raindeadhorse3 if I'm using AOL as my ISP (6 months free, which I only use when my "slightly" unreliable clover.net is down.) I'm just adding 1 to the number each time now so I don't have to think of any more names.

Which reminds me...if there's a name in my profile, I'm sure AOL ate it a long time ago.
