I'm just going to post this one thing and then get about my chores for a couple of hours in my effort to live this day as if it were my only one.

I also watched Shadowlands last week and when they are cuaght in the rain by the haystacks the C.S. Lewis character says something very similar. Something about there is no just over the hill or around the bend. I am happy where I am.

I admire you for that! I have a very hard time focusing on the present; I am a planner.

I'm not sure I'd do chores, though, if it were my only day. I guess I admire you for that, too! [Big Grin]

Rover Spirit did not see its shadow either. In its single minded way it was busy ratting a stone dubbed Gobbler's Knob near Larry’s Lookout so there is another four months of winter on Mars. Temperatures will not exceed 40 below Fahrenheit but dry conditions will prevail.

Hmm. Well, I've been mind-fully surfing the 'rack for a couple of hours now. Blah. So things haven't gone quite as I hoped today. But the day is not over yet.

I read Tuesdays with Morrie today. It was a good reminder to live life like it might end. Right now I feel like any day that I am up and moving and healthy is a good day.

I got to hang out with some cool very open minded women who were older than me.
