Hey Geoff, I couldn't find your email address under Puppy, and I'm too lazy to find your Rat profile, so could you send me an email?

It's about the senior seminar kid...he's wondering if you ever got his community consultant form in the mail?

Posted by Puppy (Member # 6721) on :

Oh! I did. Yesterday, I think. Haven't sent it back yet.

Great! Would you send me an email? cecilyjeanne at hotmail dot com

I thought this would be a thread on a great new Yugi-oh card.

Personally, I can't wait for Yu-Gi-Oh to make an Alu card. [Smile]

Man, you know, my kid just had to write a celebrity. I should have had him write to Geoff or OSC. He picked some guy from Smash Mouth. [Roll Eyes] Greg Camp. He loves Smash Mouth. Actually, he likes All-Star. It's the only song he listens to. yes, he's a weirdo. He'll probably never get a response. [Frown]

Geoff Card? As in who? A relation of Orson Scott Card? Son maybe???

Posted by Puppy (Member # 6721) on :

No, I'm actually Orson Scott Card's puppy. Can't you read? [Smile]

Posted by Megan (Member # 5290) on :

Awwww! How cute!

*scratches the puppy behind the ears*

Sorry, I cannot resist a puppy. At all.

Personally, I like to think of OSC as Goeffrey Card's dad, but that's probably just me.

Funnily enough, when you do a google search for Geoffrey Card, and go the Barnes & Noble site, you get GUI Bloopers (which is actually about web and software design, but edited by Stuart Card,) The Shining Ones and Other Stories: The Collected Stories of Arthur C. Clarke,1961-1999 (which Geoffrey Card narrated part of,) then God's Army and then, funnily enough, two money books written, in part, by Emily Card. [Smile]

Writing seems to be in the Card veins.

Hey, Geoff, is it at all scary that entering your name into google results in 323 hits? Granted, I'm a privacy freak, but that might freak normal people out.

Posted by Boris (Member # 6935) on :

Well, I get 5,970,000 results with my name. None of which are me thankfully [Smile]

Searching "teshi" on google puts my landmark in the top ten; O.o. I am most disquieted about this.

However, my real name, although there are plenty of hits, few, if any at all, are me.

Posted by Puppy (Member # 6721) on :

What do you mean?! The more hits, and the more of them actually about me, the better!

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Well, considering I've really done nothing of note, anything that might be on the internet would most likely be things I don't particularly want talked about.

Not that I have anything interesting to talk about so it would be rather creepy if it was: "Today, she lost her hairbrush".

Posted by Amka (Member # 690) on :

Geoff, go watch the ad on Amka Films, goober.

Posted by Kayla (Member # 2403) on :

"Today Geoff lost his hairbrush."

Kinda creepy. Though I bet there is a huge difference of opinion about how creepy it would be based on gender.

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

The thing is, I've actually lost my hairbrush. [Cry]

Posted by Megan (Member # 5290) on :

*sings*
Oh, where....is my hairbrush?
Oh, where....is my hairbrush?
Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, where, Oh, wheeeeeere...

is my hairbrush?

And apparently you have no leash! Bad dog!! [Big Grin]

My name brings up about 2,700,000 results. And my real name brings up about 1,000 and none of them are me thank Bob.

Posted by Narnia (Member # 1071) on :

Hey Geoff, it's Jeff Haage. Or did you already figure that out?

Posted by jeniwren (Member # 2002) on :

*laughs* Megan, I was thinking *exactly* the same thing!

"I gave it to the peach...'cause he's got...hair."

Posted by Megan (Member # 5290) on :

[Big Grin] Cool! I figured I wouldn't be the only one on here to make that connection.

I periodically walk around campus singing "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" under my breath...it's just that much fun. [Smile]

"You are my cheeseburger" is my current favorite love song.

"Miran al pepino, que suaves movimientos. Es como mantequilla en un chango pelon."

Hhahahahah!!!!

I get it!! [Big Grin]

Thanks. I'm getting ancy with this tremendous lack of Photoshop contests floating around.

*sigh* Maybe I just should do my homework instead.

Thanks, Narnia. Now, um ... could I have the teacher's e-mail again? [Smile] I'm not at work, and that's where that e-mail went ... I can send the e-mail you needed tonight if you write me now, or I can send it tomorrow if you don't get a chance.
