It's been in Hockey Town more than any other single city in the last decade and a half.

That's a pretty arbitrary number of years. Either go with most recent or total. The former being at least in the US, the latter being Montreal.

The lockout has been really tough on my fantasy hockey league. We are in our 4th year as a "keeper" league.

I've tried to find activities to keep things alive to some extent, but it has been difficult. We had a little contest with the Worlds back in September and we followed the World Jrs. pretty closely, but that's about it.

Anyone out there with a similar problem? If so, how are you handling it?

I blame the players. The league is losing tons of money. The players offer a pay cut, but whats to stop them from signing to contracts of the old value one year later. I don't see anything wrong with tying salary to revenue when its the performance of the players that has a direct tie into revenue.

Fine then, just the last decade. It's only fair that you count it later than earlier, since there are more teams now. But regardless Detroit was an original six team and we're still up there on the count of total wins, I think I see 10 total. Though you make a valid point, the Canadiens won it 23 times. That's fine with me, I'm French Canadian. I can live with that [Big Grin]
