And now you all get to see...

What I look like!!! *gasp*

Now that I'VE got a digital camera, i don't have anything to take pictures of.

Ni!

Yeah, I don't have much to take pictures of either...except of myself. I got a good picture of my right shoe, but I didn't think anyone would be interested in that. [Smile]

*Gets garlic.*

Now, that's why I don't put on my pics... the head comes out awkward! Perpetually!

Good pics, at least you smile when you're bored.

Maybe it's the geek in me but..

What kind of camera is it? How many mega pixels? What's the optical and digital zoom?

[Smile]

[Eek!]
I just take pictures with it.
It's a HP Photosmart M407 if you want to look it up [Smile]

I've had a digital camera for some time, but I can't find the cord that connects it to the computer so I can actually upload my pictures. [Grumble]

They sell those separately, right?

See, Verily, I just leave mine plugged in all the time (to the computer), so I have no problem with loosing it!

Yes Verily, though now that you need a new one, I'd skip the one that connects from your camera to your computer and go for one that hooks your memory card up to your computer. Less of a hastle, usually a really fast download rate, and that way if you ever get a new camera you can use it again. And they are cheap.

4.1 megapixels, that's respectable. And 18x total zoom is pretty decent too. Nice camera. I don't usually like HP cameras, I stick to Nikon, Canon or Sony personally, but the specs are good on that one.

Hook the card directly into the computer? Sounds interesting. I'll have to look into that.

Something like this Verily:
Card Reader

There are different ones for different card types. And most are in the 20 dollar range.

Hey, that's pretty cool. Thanks for the tip.

Huh. Except for the dark hair, you look nothing like my mental image of you.

Posted by Boris (Member # 6935) on :

Lemme guess. You thought I'd be short, mustached, and wearing a trenchcoat?

No, no, the other one in the cartoon. Tall, skinny, wears a dress...

[Edit: dress only has 2 s's!]

I never knew Bullwinkle was a cross-dresser! Boris, I've got an HP camera that I'm pretty happy about. Speaking of cool HP products, here's something nifty and new: Lightscribe. The days of writing things on discs with sharpies are over! Soon you'll be able to burn graphics and text right on to the top of your CDs and DVDs using your drive. My dad's an essential part of the team that developed this, so I've seen some of these discs up close, and it's very neat.

http://ottonomy.net/photos/shox.jpg -- I took pictures of my shoes back in the fall. I don't see why you couldn't post yours too.

Boris - you look like a pretty cool dude, for a young'n (I'm a lot older than you, so I can't say you're "cute" or "handsome" - it might be taken wrong). Thanks for sharing the photo.

Nato -- the photo of you on Foobonic is much nicer than this photo of your shoes...

I saw this thread title, and thought, "Hey! Me too!" [Big Grin] I think it's the best Christmas toy I've gotten in a while.

Cool HP products.
A contradiction in terminology?

I go Epson for printers, custom-built computers, Samsung CD-R/Writers DVD-R/W and +R/W, Nikon or Olympus in cameras, and... Oh, whatever.

All I have against HP is their printers...

Heh, Kama said I was cute [Blushing]

*Runs away*

Nah! My dad got a digital for Christmas. I just spoiled mine even more. It has a new carry bag, a tripod, cleaning kit, and filters.

(I was gonna post that Boris was hawt, but I changed my mind. What would my husband think if he saw this thread?)
