I am doind a Journalism Article on Ender's Game for School.

I am trying to find how many copies of each of the Ender's game and Ender's Shadow Series sold but I can't find any sites that say so. Like I want to know the individual sales for each book. They don't gotta rise with each second when a bok sells just a rough number.

I am comparing how well the new book Shadow of The Giant will do Compoared to Harry Potter : The Half Blodd Prince coming in July. I am doing a pre-release article and I may do a follow up idk. Like a sidebar or something.

Anyways does anyone know this info or where I can find it?

"Like I want to know the individual sales for each book."

Given that some of those books have been on sale for nearly thirty years, the comparative sales figures may not be as useful as you'd imagine.

I know but maybe in the first few years they were on the shelves. Like the first five years that may help. You think so?

Try googling it.

Bingo.

Ender's Game...which has sold more than two million copies, is one of the most popular science fiction novels ever written.

That's just Ender's Game, though. You'd have to do some more digging to find numbers for the others.

I sent e-mails to the publishers of both Ender's Game and HArry Potter and I asked them the same question but the soone rI get this info the better. Thank you for the Ender's Game number.

I tried Googling it. I am just not a very good investigative reporter.

I don't think I have ever seen a thread get so many bumps in such a short period of time.

lol

as for your question, I'm to lazy to do my own work right now...I'm surely not going to do someone else's.

So... uhh... how does the Great Emancipator get internet access? I mean, calling up Verizon is sorta trivial in comparison to holding the Union together with one hand, and waging war on Confederates with the other. Also, I'm happy that whole Wilkes-Booth thing worked out in the end.

Wait a second...

In all seriousness, though, you aren't allowed to have that alias unless you use the [Hat] emote a lot. [Big Grin]

EDIT: I forgot again! Dammit:
*hands Mr Lincoln a cookie and a Nafai plushie* Welcome to the forum. [Smile]

Lupus came close, but I guess I have to be the first one to officially say it:

Do your own homework!

*grin*

Seriously, sending emails to the publishers was a good idea. Patience. The problem is, there probably is more than one publisher for each of these books. And are you considering hardback versions, or mass market (paperback)?

Lots of things to know before you start asking these questions. Reporting is *hard*! Dangit.

AL, you could try going to the Research Area of this site (look to the right of the tree at the top of this page -- there's a link there). You may find that your question has already been asked. Also, you can submit a question.

You can also look for the New York Times list of bestsellers and see if you can find links to other ranking sites.

I have to point this out, because it's funny how easily the eye is fooled. He's not Abe LinCOLN. He's Abe linCLON.
