This year Green Day released their new album American Idiot. It recieved rave reviews and after buying and listening to it I could tell why. The music was wonderful as well as the vocals. But did anyone actually listen to the lyrics? Politically and spirtually insightful, I would say it was the best album this year.

Are We Waiting and Jesus of Suburbia were two of my favorites from the album. All in all, I'd say it's well worth the wait.
