I was playing Monopoly with some friends. We knew midnight had come because the mother of the friend whose house we were at called to wish him a Happy New Year. Whereupon we looked at our watches, surprised that it was midnight already, then we all said "Happy New Year" and went back to our game. ("Happy New Year! Now give me my money!")
