I had the best day today. I saw two movies! I saw Incredibles and Finding Neverland and loved them both.
I loved how in the Incredibles Mr Incredible was trying to do the best he could as a hero until he got into all sorts of trouble and had to work a boring job, much like me and he was so restless and so was the rest of the family from having to pretend to be average and normal.
There is something depressingly boring about being normal, even though I am not sure what it is. Perhaps it has something to do with characters on sitcoms and how stereotypical they can be with drives me up a tree.
I loved Johnny Depp's subtle acting in Finding Neverland and his rather lovely fake Scottish brogue. The themes of the movie were excellent. Themes about pretending, about growing up, about imagination, writing and friendship. It really had me getting weepy at the end.
What a great way to spend Christmas Eve. I even got to have sushi.
I should do stuff like that every day.

I should also do this on New Year's Eve if I have enough money.
I ought to do this all the time.
I love watching good movies.

Enough money? Why not just watch movies on TV? Like, I Am Sam, which came on tonight at 9? Goooooood movie. A real tear-jerker. *sniffle*

I hate they way they edit movies to put them on television...
Plus, I get only a handful of stations...
I shall see. I might just pick up Spiderman 1 from the library again.

I...worked all day. And it was dead.

But I was making time and a half, so it's all good.

I actually had the day off. [Taunt]

However, I can't find my nice button up collared shirt that I want to wear tomorrow to the "Italian X-mas Feast." [Grumble] My old division officer wants to have a Christmas party dinner the way he's always wanted it. He's of Italian decent so he's making the spaghetti and lasagna.
