Presuming that you and the Christmas Curmudgeon do in fact share the same birthday. [Smile]

And no, I'm not a day early - it's 8:11 am Christmas morning here. And a beautiful sunny day it is too.

So - Happy Birthday! Have a great day.

Happy Birthday, fellow Capricornian! (I'm in two days. It must have sucked extra hard for you as a child. My parents tried to make everyone send two presents, one for Christmas and one for my birthday, but it really sucked never being able to have a birthday party as a kid.)

Three days before Christmas here. No parties, many combined gifts. [Smile]

Yeah, well I said they tried. [Razz]

Wow, Dags, you're barely a Capricorn.

Did you have the problem of telling people when your birthday was? If you say three days before Christmas, they say, "Oh, December 22." But if you say December 22 they say, "Oh, three days before Christmas." Or did that just happen to me?

Not just you, Kayla. My brother's birthday is 12.21, he came home from the hospital Christmas morning. 27 years later he's still getting short shrift every year. And yes, everyone always comments that "oh you're a Christmas baby" when they hear his birthdate.

They were inseperable facts. If I used the date, I always heard "Wow! 3 days before Christmas."

So it's easier to just skip a step and say "3 days before Christmas." [Smile]

Happy Birthday, AJ! [The Wave]

Oh, and as far as those who have commented that having a birthday on Christmas means getting shortchanged...I think my cousin's family has the right idea. I don't know if her husband and kids do it now, but when she was younger and still living at home, the family always threw her a birthday party on the Fourth of July - cake, presents, the whole bit. She also got a cake and birthday present on her actual birthday, on Christmas, as well, so instead of being shortchanged, she actually got two birthday parties every year. [Smile]

Thank you! My Christmas present from Steve has been him puttting in the floor in our master bedroom. It doesn't look like the house we moved into at all! I'll get pictures up shortly.

LMA, we tried that. Unfortunately, MY birthday is in July and that got screwed up too. LOL, our family is just completely screwed up, I guess. Can't even get birthdays handled.

Happy Birthday AJ. You know, all you folks just before or just after Christmas could just claim to be Hannukah babies. That way you'd get 8 presents!

I somehow missed this thread entirely!

Haven't checked Hatrack -- hope you had a wonderful birthday! Does this mean all that lovely shag carpet is now removed from your house? What color was the master bedroom's? Purple?

AJ! I didn't even know! I guess I didn't pay attention to the Christmas curmudgeon thread closely enough.

You share a birthday with my oldest, Natalie. [Smile]

Happy Birthday! Even if I'm late.
