Am I the first person time zonely speaking on this board to experience Christmas? Or are there others ahead of me? It's currently 5:30am, [Big Grin]

The Australians and Kiwis are ahead of you, quid. [Smile]

Yeah, I know that. But do we have any here on the board? That was what I wanted to know. Sorry for not being more clear . . . [Wall Bash]

The kids are all sleeping, the presents are all out, the stockings are stuffed.

I'm just waiting for my parents to get here and set up the swingset.

I even "staged" the dirty plate and cup from Santa's milk and cookies.

Then I'll wake the kids up, tell them that Santa just left, and let them open everything up. Then the rest of us can go to bed, knowing that the kids will be happy until we get up.

Ah...peaceful slumber.

Unfortunately, Hubby has to get back up at 4am to go to work. And he won't get home until about 7pm. So, we'll be having Christmas dinner late. Anyone want to join us? Turkey, ham, and all the fixins!

There's tt&t and her sister, as well as Cashew on the Kiwi front. Then there's imogen, who is in Australia.

[Smile]

Cool!

See, I don't know where most people are. And even though I sometimes know because of certain posts, it immediately flows out of my brain. Which is which I would like a location thingy under our nickname. Just to provide more information. It would be fun! [Big Grin] But I don't always get what I want, so. . .

Anyway. The pancakes were good. We had kithul palm treacle on them - can't get syrup here, but the treacle is really really good anyway, and much better than most syrups, so it's all good. [Big Grin]

We'll probably have Chinese take away for dinner. Turkeys are too expensive and not halal, so hubby can't have, anyway. And cooking a turkey for two is a little . . . Well, we'll have Chinese. [Big Grin] So it's all happiness.

How's it going for the rest of you?

Wow..so, for the time of the posts, is it different for everyone, depending on where they are? Because your post that says "it's 5:30 am" is posted at 6:34pm for me.. [Confused]
What time is it now? It's almost midnight. I'm still waiting for Christmas, although, I'm not really looking forward to it. [Grumble]

It's 11 pm for me, and all I have to do now is wrap 10 gifts before tomorrow afternoon, so I'm good! [Smile]

Well, see, that's part of how I get so confused, but then, I'm easily confuzzled. [Confused] It's currently at 11:11am here. Almost time for me to make lunch, although I haven't figured out what that'll be. [Dont Know]

The time for the posts is done in EST. This simplifies everything.

Ethics Gradient and Troubador are both Australians, though I haven't seen EG around here for ages. [Frown]

Troubs pops up every once in a while, tho. [Smile]

In whatever time zone you reside, Merry Christmas!

[Party]

Only for you, Stan. I'd rather have the ability to show the posts in my local time zone. That would be easier for me. [Big Grin]

No thanks. [Smile] I have enough trouble dealing with time zones when I call home. It would be my dinner time and my parents are trying to go to bed.

[Dont Know] I just don't get ya, Stan the Man. [Dont Know]

I'm celebrating Christmas by wearing a sweater-vest. Yes! (I don't know how this showed up in my closet, but by gum, it's fashionable!)

Hey Quid - I'm 2 hours ahead of you. 6.09 pm Christmas night at the moment.

And we had a very nice Christmas lunch. It was my first time cooking duck and it went beautifully. Now we have leftovers to last us about a week!

Imogen - didn't know you were in Aussieland. Glad you had a great lunch! I'm still waiting for hubby to finish working so we can do something Christmasy together. [Grumble]

Mmmm . . . duck.
