I'm going to be away for a while. We're leaving in about 8 hours to start our long drive to CA (with a nine month old ). We'll be driving for 2 days or so, stay in Phoenix for a couple of days, and then on to LA. So, I won't be seeing you for a little while.
I'm so excited! Not only am I going home for Christmas, I get to meet rivka, Papa Moose, and possibly more of you. Yay!!! This is one of the best Christmases ever.

Merry Christmas. Hope the book keeps you amused on the trip! Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
I don't know if it'll be as funny the third time around... Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :
Wow. I guess you like it.

Didn't I tell you that? I read it once the first day I got it, then read it out loud (except the visual jokes, which I made my husband read while I read over his shoulder and giggled).

I remember a story when I was about that age... and I cried and sobbed for six hours from Chicago to Detroit (speed limit was 55 back then I think). My parents were frantic. Mom was crying too. Dad was freaking out. Then 10 minutes from home they stop at McDonalds and get some food. They give me a french fry to suck on and I pass right out. They almost killed me there. Oh yes, you told me. That was rhetorical. Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :
Safe trip!
See ya soon!
Um, did I ever email you my cell number or anything useful like that?
Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
No. Maybe you should. I'll check my e-mail probably on the 28th.

Sent!

Recieved! Although I saw the subject and thought "jail"; I must be tired...

LOL! Nah, although sometimes I turn it off (or ignore it) just for the freedom factor. Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :
I had this image of you sitting in a cold, dark, stone-walled room, holding a glowing mobile phone to your ear. Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :
That would be ONE way to get some peace and quiet when I'm on the phone . . . Posted by Papa Moose (Member # 1992) on :
