is that, apparently, he's the publisher of an online poetry mag called Strong Verse, which I had to find out about from my wife.

Check it out.

Why isn't Strong Verse on the list of links here at Hatrack?

What is the deal with that? It reeks of elitism and . . . um. . . intellectual foo-faraw. REALLY.

Papa Moose, you old apologist.

The notice is in tiny, 4 point font.

And it's after ORNERY.ORG, for Pete's sake.

Sorry.

I'm not a big poetry fan, but I just read "Don't You Remember the End of the World?" on your link, and quite liked it in spite of myself.

aaackkk... It's on the front page. Ya would think that OSC would know better than to encourage driveby poetry.

A forum completely without fluff?

How can I help but diss Ornery? It's antithetical to everything I believe in and value.

(Although, the Southpaw thread MIGHT be fluff-- it's hard to tell. Though, there's a link to the Economist, so I'm going with Not-Fluff)

[Big Grin]

Anyway, folks, check out the site. It's got some good stuff on there. My favorite, thus far, is My Father's Church though I'm having a hard time articulating why. . .
