Right on the Alabama/Georgia border, and along the banks of the Chatahoochee River?

My favorite nephew (who lives close to me) just got a job in law enforcement there. He moves next week! This is the first of our kids (my sister and I's) to move away from home and away from Kansas. It is an adjustment for us. Makes me think about (sadly) the day my kids will be moved off and gone...

I would feel better if there just happened to be someone here who lived near there, just to know he would have a "friend" if ever needed. He's just 21....

I live in Atlanta. I could run down and break a few laws...so he gets off to a good start.

Not to start a theme, but I'm also in Atlanta - I can lend a hand if needed.

[ROFL] Well, let him get through the Academy for three months (beginning Dec 20th) before he is actual live "on the street" for you to test him out...

I sang "Chattahoochee" at a karaoke bar one night. Is that close enough?

Only if you know how to do the dance that goes with it, Papa...

If I go to school in Georgia I will be in Valdosta around August. I could run over there every so often.

Oh my -- I don't know Allegra. You're young and very pretty - and he's leaving his girlfriend behind here in Kansas...... [Big Grin]

(and he looks great in his uniform)

Sorry about that. Either my computer was screwing up or Hatrack was.

Sorry, I've only driven through it. [Frown] I'm a little too far away to be much help.

How far is that from Birmingham? I've never heard of it. [Smile] But if we're going to have a Hatrack felonyfest there or something, count me in! [Smile] <crimecon? proto-ex-con?>

Hee, hee, you could all get together and disturb the peace right near him, and when he comes over, tell him his aunt sent you to keep him busy. [Razz]

FG -- does the dance have another name, or is it called the Chattahoochee? I know a few country line dances whose names I would recognize if I heard them.
