I'll be in the Metroplex this next week to visit friends and family and I am eagerly looking forward to eating it. [Smile]

The place in question is "Campisi's" which is located off of 75 on Mockingbird.

So, if you are ever in the area, go have an "All the Way" pizza and think of me.

I will!

So...there are at least four active Hatrackers in Dallas. I don't suppose you'll be too busy for lunch sometime?

Well, I'll only be in DFW from this Monday afternoon till Wednesday afternoon, but it would be great to meet up with an esteemed Hatracker like yourself. [Smile]

We are actually planning on meeting some friends at Campisi's on Monday for lunch. You would certainly be welcome!

Oh, good golly. I think it would be great to meet. [Smile] I'm not sure I can go downtown for lunch - I work all the way in Irving. I'll e-mail you. [Smile]

I have to agree the Campisi's has great pizza! I hope you enjoy your trip to Dallas [Smile]

Four?

who am I missing?

There are other good pizza joints around, but Campisi's *is* awfully good...

Actually, five now, You, Katharina, Thor, ketchupqueen and myself

Thor's in Houston. I was thinking of ketchupqueen.

We're growing. We may have to actually label ourselves a clump, soon.

This is a link to a review of the restaurant.

I must agree with the reviewer when he recommends that you try to sit in the old part of the restaurant. It provides a lot better atmosphere for the experience.

Everyone I ever took to Campisi's loves the whole "Egyptian Restaurant" thing. [Smile]

That is right by our apartment (like 5 miles away), but I've never been there. [Embarrassed]

You know being stuck on a meal plan makes me want things like really good homemade pizza...

...and brie... and homemade bread... and shrimp... and proper non-floppy stir-fry... and steak... and asparagus... and fried rice... and chicken pie... and chocolate pudding... and salmon with onions... and any other fish that isn't covered with batter and deep-fried... and couscous...

[Cry]

Re: Hatrack Dallas Pizza Party!

Is there a time that would be better for anyone?

I can do it either Monday for lunch, Wednesday for lunch or possibly Monday night for dinner although it wouldn't be the most convenient.

(Jim-me: I think you might have the wrong person in mind...I'm Ryoko with an "O"...not Ryuko with a "U".)

I'm leaving for Texas on Saturday morning, so I'll be out of email contact until Sunday night. (Taking the trip in 2 days)

Party on!

oops... sorry Ryoko... my bad! [Blushing]

Lunches are do-able for me, Monday evening is busy.

I have my home computer running again, so you can e-mail me at the address in my profile again.
