W-...W-War of the W-Worlds? AHHH!

Personally I despise the book, I barely pulled through it, I didn't even finish the second book.

*Scans again* No Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children?

I am very nervous about "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "King Kong". It's so easy to screw up a classic, and those are two of my favorites.

I like most of the actors involved, though, and I LOVE both of the directors, so I won't get too scared yet.

Man, I read all of the Sin City books yesterday and they BLEW ME AWAY. It's going to be awesome!

EDIT:

Footage from Sin City: http://cyberpunk.pardey.org/tv/sincity_comiccon.mov

It's the opening scene as well as some other footage. It's like nothing I've ever seen before.

I couldn't find a release date in my (extremely cursory) search, but I think MirrorMask comes out in 2005. And I can't wait for Serenity!!! *bounces and puppy-wiggles*

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith should be mildly interesting.

Holy... Wow. That's one hell of a lineup.

I think they should do 'War of the Worlds' the way Mr. Wells does it. Although no one listens to the radio nowadays, they could do it on tv! That would so rock...

Goblet of Fire's next year? Any idea when?

Mmmm . . . Matt Damon . . .

OMG! Sin City looks so freakin' awesome! I'm glad Frank Miller has creative control and that it's done in his style.

So many other good ones to look forward to as well. [Big Grin]

Anyone here seen the teaser for Batman Begins? It looks FANTASTIC. Like a really DARK, DRAMATIC Batman movie, and not just an orgy of neon lights and fragmented, grotesque plotlines.

EDIT: Btw, they're basing the mood and some of the gadgets from that movie off of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

Here's about a zillion places you can see the Batman trailer at.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372784/trailers

EDIT: They also have photos on batmanbegins.com. As soon as I saw the Batmobile I remembered Dark Knight Returns. In case you haven't noticed, this is a project I am very, very interested in.
