I totally forgot me and B's one-year anniversary last Wednesday.
So, yes, I've been engaged for one year and five days.

So...like...did HE forget to? Since obviously you would have remembered before this if he had done something....

Yes, yes, we both forgot.
You would think that something so very important in both our lives would have been remembered.
Whoops.

(((((((((Bernard and Mayday))))))))))) Congratulations! Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :
By "anniversary," are you counting from the day you started dating or the day you decided to get married? Or is that the same day?
If the latter, almost no one I know celebrates the anniversary of their engagement -- so you're to be forgiven. *grin*

@ Tom
It's the day we decided to get married. And we need something to celebrate, what with being so far away.

Don't feel bad. Once I told someone my wedding date, and had to be corrected by my husband since the date I gave was wrong.

My dad made his wedding date the code to the garage door.
The only problem is that he remembered wrong. Posted by Toretha (Member # 2233) on :
Yeah, and y'know what ELSE you forgot???
Better return those books to the library! Well, book and two books on CD. SOON! Or die a horrible painful death! I do mean soon, as in very soon, cause I got a letter from the library saying they're going to sue me.
eit-oh yeah, congratulations.
edit again-yes, you are a moron! (not really, but I'm naturally insulting)

we celebrated our engagement anniversary, but we were engaged for a couple of years. and one of those years i totally forgot and tried to pull "taking him out for a nice dinner" as a gift. that doesn't work any better on them than it does on us.
