What is class? I will give you an example.

We have a baseball rivalry here on Hatrack, between the Sox fans and the Yankee fans. I have been impressed with the level of baseball discussion, as well as the fun of teasing each other without going over the line.

Icarus, who gives us the most crap, consistently, was virtually silent about last night's game.

That, my friends, is class.

Other examples, anyone?

You are only doing that because you know we are going to kick your a** tonight!!!!!!!!

Both previous posts would be examples of having a definite lack of class.

code:
class CClass {
public:
CClass () : IsClass (true) {}

private:
bool IsClass;
};

The L.A. Dodgers. I thought it was so classy when they came out and congratulated the Cardinals for their series win in L.A. You won't see Boston doing that tonight (and neither would New York if the shoe was on the othet foot).

Icarus: I must have worse vision than I thought. Because I thought that it was the "6th" inning -- but obviously it really is the "9th."

Because otherwise the outcome of the game would still be undecided. ^^

Oh, if you're responding to my nyah nyah, I actually posted that when New York was losing.

My grandmother did not call us today. She can't do it. So she calls my parents to gloat over the Yankees.

Same story as last year. She moved up from New York after living there for ninety years. She is a true blue Yankees fan from the early days. She is living in a "Den of the Enemy," as she refers to her assisted living place in Massachusetts. She is too polite to gloat in front of Sox fans, but lets loose on anyone else who will listen.

That is class.

So....is this the "classy" version of my thread?

In that case..

[Laugh] Elizabeth (with class)

Just watch. One season far, far, away the Detroit Tigers will take it all! I might be dead before that happens, but they will take the world of baseball by storm!

*Shakes fist to the heavens*

I don't know whether to laugh that hobbes did exactly what I thought he would, or to be upset that he beat me to it.
