Shhh...
Don't wake her up. She's out asleep on my couch right now.

I'll give you a dollar if you put shaving cream in her hand then tickle her nose.

I'll give you two.

Better yet, steal her clean undergarments, run them in water, and stick 'em in the freezer.

I just woke up on my couch a little while ago. I have no idea how long I'd been asleep.

Now, here's the thing. Are you sure you aren't now Farmgirl, Noemon?

Of course he's not... if he had woken up on AJ's couch, then he would be Farmgirl. Or, you know, if he had shaving cream on his nose and frozen underware.

Maybe he and Farmgirl are psychically linked.

Farmgirl, have you been feeling a need to make puns and post scientific links lately?

Edit: Dagnabbit, I have a habit of leaving out the most important words in the sentence.

I wish I had a couch.

:: poof! ::

You have a couch, and at the first opportunity, you fall asleep on it. Unfortunately, it turns out that a thriving colony of bedbugs had taken up residence in the cushions, and you are now covered in bites.

I wish that...oh, wait, wrong thread.

Teshi, are you living in a dorm or something? If you've got the space, it's pretty easy to find a cheap couch, in my experience.

Well, Farmgirl obviously survived the AJ onslaught... else she chickened out <g>

FG and I just had lunch together at Billy Goat's downtown Chicago. No signs of shaving cream or frostbite to be found, just two very well fed and happy Hatrackers =)

By the way, it's all Hatrack's fault.... I caught myself saying I was squicked out about something while we were at lunch... had us both giggling over the pervasiveness of this group!

[Frown] I could have met you. [Frown]

Oh well. I had lunch at Chipotle, which was very yummy. [Big Grin] And I have leftovers for later!

Goody did she give you the jello cups, and did she actually brave the Metra? I told her on a rainy day the Metra was the way to go, not to mention parking.

We both brainfarted on the jello cups, and I assume she drove since she talked about going to the Millenium Park garage.

Xnera, which Chipotle did you go to? Michigan Avenue? I'd forgotten you work in the loop too!

yes -- Karen! I didn't know you worked downtown or I definately would have included you as well! Would loved to have seen you again. Downtown was a little intimidating to me (volumes of people) but fascinating as well.

AJ -- First, thank you so much for not taking the "advice" of the early posters in this thread! Ewwww! I would have had to use Steve's Japanese sword thingy to bop you on the head if you had tried this!

It was so much fun walking around downtown -- even on the cloudy, drizzly day! Sorry I forgot to give Goody the cup thingys, AJ! Had them with me in my pack the whole time and still forgot! I will send them to her.

Got home safely last night. Now to go look for my pigskin picks....

I have the largest room in the dorm and the smallest couch would take up half the floor space! All I really need is more cushions.
