I find myself falling in love with the BYU theatre department, so as part of an assignment I gladly went to see the play Nathan the Wise.
I thought it was fabulous. It was halariously written and acted, and ends with a great coming together of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. The director's notes made an interesting point--this play was written over 200 years ago and set in 1190 but is *painfully* timely today.
Anyway, that's my plug. Last night it wasn't too full, but it was just a preview, and word of mouth should spread pretty well. So if anyone happens to be in the neighborhood, I could definetely think of worse things to spend 12 bucks and 2.5 hours on.
