Who would be interested in meeting up at King Richards Faire this OCT?

It looks great, and I have been hearing abotu this for years and never gone to it.

I want to before I leave MA for good...

Ooooo, I wonder if I could drag my SCA peeps. I heard KRF was expensive but a good time... I've certainly wanted to go since elementary school ^^

It is quite expensive. Looks to be $24, unless you get the ridiculous discount rate (25 people at $20 a person).

Expect on spending another $10 for a meal and drinks. Save yourself another $100 if you want to be able to buy cool stuff like elven ears or jewelry or clothes.

It's... expensive. But a fun time. I went once. Some hard-core SCA folks stay away from Ren Faires b/c they're so overpriced and geared to "tourists." But they're still silly and quaint.

Welp, my friend Brendon and I just decided we were going to KRF Oct 16, seeing as there's a nice trip there through the school. We may drag some other people, and we'd get there at elevish and leave at five. Anyone still thinking of going? [Smile]

Hmm, I might tag along. That'd be fun. Not sure what my schedule will be like, though.

I know my kids would love to go, but it is soccer time and Saturday and Sunday games happen through October.

Oh heck, I never factored that in to the camping weekend!
