This dobie is all wet. But, for some reason, it spoke to me. Maybe it will help me turn over a new leaf.

All the angst and political infighting of late has me a bit chafed. I check into this thread hoping for something to dampen the flames and instead I'm irrigated all over again.

A public school I went to rotated. Seriously.

Our classes rotated. We had 8 different class periods and 7 of them actually held each day. So day one would be 1 through 7. The next day would start with 8 and end with 6. This would continue rotating each day, so your first class was never the same two days in a row. This was a great thing for me, because I often slept through my morning classes. Also, you got to have more classes and every day you missed one!

It was confusing at first, but after awhile I grew to love it. I was very bitter that I only got to attend that school one year (we moved away).

Dag, Please don't use the term hoser when responding to a post where I referenced being chafed.

None of you can dampen my enthusiasm about this topic. Wheel, maybe you can just a little, but not enough to wring my hands over.

these dobie threads are such a drain [Wink]

A dobie by itself is barren wasteland at best. But we've nurtured this one carefully and it's sprouted puns.
