Are you brand new, or an old regular getting a fresh start with a new nickname? I see you have a hundred posts since July, but mostly, it seems, recently, and it's all the Good Stuff. So if you are, in fact, new, welcome! I just wanted to tell you I was enjoying your thoughtful posts.

if you're not new, then nevermind . . . [Embarrassed]

She is new, I believe. And almost made it to Kamacon, but, alas! was unable to do so.

Too bad, as I was really hoping to meet her.

I be a noob, registered at the very end of July, and realized tonight how talkative I've been! At this rate I'll be landmarking soon!

Want my advice? Wait. People will only pay attention to one landmark you write. Anythig after that is a chance for some of your friends to hug you and tell you how great you are, but not a chance to really connect to anyone. There's nothing like watching your 3000th post or 5000th post or 7000th post get ignored for making you feel like you've overstayed your welcome. If I had it to do over again, I would only have written one, and I would have waited longer, instead of doing it so early that many Hatrack regulars weren't interested in reading it. (You'll probably ignore this, because everyone's in a hurry to join in the tradition. *shrug* In a year or two, though, you can tell me I was right. [Smile] )

But anyway, just wanted to say welcome, and you're cool! [Cool]
