Sorry, this isn't a computer help thread. I'm trying to figure out the name of a trivia board game I used to play as a kid. You progressed through the game by answering questions and working your way through the planets of our solar system. I can picture the board (black, with the planets connected by strings of triangles, I think), but I can't remember what it's called. And for reference, I would have done my own research, but alas, because it is a game, all of the websites that might be of use are blocked by my well-meaning employer. Thanks.

And I was all ready to link to www.memtest86.com and www.crucial.com

Sorry, I don't think I have ever seen that game.

Was it monopoly ish? and you like landed on planetary moons and stuff?

I think it only involved the 9 planets and maybe the sun. You started ... at the sun, I'm guessing and moved your way through the solar system. That's about all I can remember. I'm pretty sure it was a trivia game. I have a friend that remembers the game, so I know I'm not crazy, but she doesn't remember what it's called, either.

This doesn't look quite how I remember it, but it sounds like the one I remember playing.

This one is more Monopoly-like. It is definitely not one I played growing up though.

Solo, the first one doesn't quite look like it, but it could just be a newer version of the one I played, and the second link was blocked.

Does this look familiar? It's a game called space hop, and I think it has the same basic premise as the game you're talking about. My brother had this one, and it's sister game star hop from a long time ago.

The second one solo linked to, Solar Quest is the game I had. It was a boring game if you played it according to the rules, which I don't think I ever did. It normally degenerated into some sort of an interplanetary space battle.

This is one of those times when I think I'm crazy, but I know I'm not. And I can't think of a way to figure this out, but thanks for all the suggestions. Some of the games looked a lot cooler than the one I'm trying to find.

Fiazko, sorry to break it to you sweetie, but you post on Hatrack. Ergo, you're crazy.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I looked at it. It looks like a different box/board than I remember, but it sounds like the same game.

My brother and I used to play it at my grandparents house.

What a great Alice quote, rivka!

I'm automatically crazy, huh? [Mad]

[Dont Know] Good to know.

Anyway, I'm still stumped. I've been asking everyone who is at least my age. I'm starting to think it doesn't exist. I'm starting to think I don't exist. No wait. Nevermind.

Fiazko, don't worry. While I can't remember the name I'm almost positive I played this in my Search class in elementary school.

Ok, well that makes me feel a little better, but if I don't figure out the name soon, I'm gonna start rocking back and forth and drooling.
