President Bush's acceptance speech will be simulcast in English.

When asked for comment, Kerry argued he would've said the same things, but in different ways.

A group calling itself High School Teachers for Truth, however, claims in a series of ads that Kerry could have done no such thing, because he routinely cut English class when in high school.

-o-

Three of Kerry's actual English teachers, however, have joined him on the campaign tour to repudiate the account, pointing out that several of the English teachers were not yet born when Kerry was in high school.

After receiving severe political pressure from John McCain, Bush finally spoke out against the High School Teachers for Truth.

"Look, I'm against this group of teachers," Bush argued. "In fact, I've frepeatedly condemned all high school teachers, and I call upon my opponent to do the same."

Meanwhile, it was clear that the smear campaign was eating away at Kerry's support.

His support among people who attended high school dropped, because of those allegedly cut classes, but also because Kerry harshly criticized high school once he was out.

Apparently, the fact that Bush found an alternative to high school placement doesn't have an effect on these voters, nor his own questionable attendance at the alternative placement.

Karl Rove on the political talk show circuit today noted that President Bush was "high" and "went to <insert air quotes here> 'school' and so, technically he completed high school." <more air quotes>

Inspired by the episode of Friends where Joey learned the subtle art of air quoting, Bush asserted proudly that regardless of his education, he <insert air quotes here> won the last election, thus proving any millionaire's son can grow up to become president.

Meanwhile, last week Rush Limbaugh did a 15 minute rant on John Kerry's high school diploma being proof that he was an over-educated, liberal, egghead in the pockets of the Teacher's Union.

Several conservative talk show hosts have called for Kerry to open up his, "Permanent Record". John Edwards announced that "John Kerry has shown the world his records, including his grade school diploma. We are waiting for President Bush to do the same, if he can."

President Bush was unable to show is Grade School Diploma, claiming it got lost in a moving accident when he was campaigning for a family friend at the age of 10.
